Weight loss

A new year is about to start and a few things will be new for me like my job. So, being that this new job will be a good oppurtunity, I wanna take the oppurtunity and really lose some weight-okay, more than some, a lot- so I think it would be more effective to hold myself accountable by posting what I eat and what I do to work out and burn off calories on a daily basis. I think it would be good for me since I have lost a relatively miniscule amount thus far- 6 lbs. I'm gonna keep going. I post information like starting weight, my height, my initial goal weight, and things that have worked for me and not worked for me. RCC has a free gym so maybe if I can find the showers, I'll use one of my breaks to work out between classes. I can hopefully find more time for extracurricular excercise between work and classes. Shouldn't be much a problem, hopefully.

Been happy :)

I hope everyone had some great holidays. I hope everyone got to eat their favorite foods, open some awesome gifts and spend a few days just chillin with the family.

I had an awesome time at my aunt's house Christmas Eve. My uncle bought some games off the PSN for my PS3. Medal of Honor and Crazy Taxi to be more specific. My family is full of awesome cooks. I made cheescake, my aunt made red velvet cookies and my grandma made guacamole and some awesome chicken salad. For Christmas I got $150 bucks and used it for a new flat screen TV since my 13 inch tube TV didnt have very compatible resolution for my PS3. I got the comfiest sketcher boots and jeans from my mom. As well as some kick ass movies and an awesome cupcake design book from my best peep Sharlotte.

Tired of Wal-Mart

Okay, so after being promised flexibility and a managable schedule, to no suprise, Wal-Mart didn't deliver. Since November started, I've been working nothing but 10 hour days. They're forcing overtime on everyone and ignoring availability. Yeah, so the last half of my semester SUCKED. But it's all good because I stilled pulled off good grades. I'm sick of all of the ridiculous crap going on at Wal-Mart so I applied with Canadian County DHS. From what I've been told by a friend who works there, this sounds like a promising job. The pay is more than Wal-Mart plus, the hours aren't crazy. And best of all, I get to deal minimally with people. :D I was so angry about two complaints I got the other day.

1.) It's 6:45 A.M. and this guy wants fresh donuts but the bakery is still pumping out breads, cakes, and all sorts of other stuff so they tell the guy he'll have to wait. He grabs a box from the previous day and proceeds to bitch about the fact that they aren't discounted. Then he throws them back where he got them, gets a CSM and makes the CSM go into the bakery so he can have a fresh box. Then complains about every single person he had to deal with to the Grocery Department manager.

2.) Guy buys doritos and another item. He pays and gets his change and looks at his receipt and doesn't like the price of the doritos and because I can't refund him the difference, he cusses out everybody at Customer Service and runs out without his stuff. Real mature, huh?

Point being, I hope this lady calls me back because my short 6 month stint at Wal-Mart needs to end.
